Glycemic Index Help

 

Can you have milk on the South Beach diet?

I think I missed the part in the book that addresses this and I only see the glycemic index number for soy milk. So what about regular fat free milk?

  1. You can't have it at all in Phase 1. But in Phase 2 you can start to have it. You're allowed to have 1 1/2 cups daily (including yogurt).
  2. you can have it in the same phase that allows you to have cheese and other dairy products. I think thats a little bit in phase 2 and then moderately in phase 3 *******
