Perking up tuna salad?
What are some good ways to perk up the usual tuna salad? So far, I've been eating it on wheat bread, which is cool, because it goes along with my low glycemic index diet that my doctor has me on. Any low GI help is appreciated! Thank you!

- a little mayo, pickles, onions, black olives, and green peppers... dice them up, but not to finely.. i usually eat it without the green peppers, but it's nice to try something different from time to time
- try finely chopped apples, or a touch of mustrad in the mayo,or some hamburger relish for a sweet treat, of chopped olives for something exotic
- In addition to nickle's ideas above, I have seen it with cut up celery and green olives too..yum
- Try adding... chopped onion, raisins, chopped brocoli, chopped peanuts
- finely diced carrots, celery, onion, and a lil mayo is what I use and if you like a dash of garlic powder
- cheese, sprouts, hot sauce, pepers, crutons,
- Not sure if this has a low glycemic index, but put a little spicy brown mustard on your sandwich.
- pomegrante seeds. additionally - Teriki sause is great on tuna.
- Try a little lemon pepper! It's delicious!
- Two glasses of a good red wine before eating it.
- add tomatoes hot green peppers and cucumbers. then add lemon and vinegar and enjoy.
- Jalepeno peppers!
