  1. I am actually following this plan myself right now. It was recommended in the book Fertility Foods written by Dr.Jeremy Groll who is a reproductive endocrinologist. The hardest part for me has been giving up the coffee :( I have faith that in due time this plan is going to work for BOTH of us!
  2. I haven't tried it but I've heard it's good for it
  3. What you are asking is non-scientific. If someone tries a low gly diet, and in turn gets pregnant you can't just say that "the rooster, by crowing... causes the sun to come up" You cant say that your new brilliant idea, if it works, reflects on your geniusity. And if it fails, then it is probably some other unkown factor. Please admit that if wikipedia does not have a page for it, then you are probably in your own scientific world, which is, mere, in fact, devoid of science.
  4. To the idiot who answered above.................................................... people with the condition pcos often are insulin resistant food that is high GI cause a huge raise in your blood sugar pcos sufferes are unable to bring this down again therefore eating low gi food allows you to a even blood sugar level anything that you can do to help alleviate symptoms of pcos is a blessing as too much insulin means you are less likely to ovulate due to the hormones and mixed signals going on in the body anyone with pcos eat LOW GI!!!!
  5. well i have pcos i tryed ever diet took me 6 yrs to get pregt at a mc 4 yrs ago but the dr put me on sum tabs to help lose weight then missed 4 periods and in june found out i was 8 wks and 1 day i swear it was them tabs its the 1s what make u poor if you eat any fatty food
  6. So, let's be honest, I don't know tons about the GI diet. But I have PCOS and was encouraged to give up all sugar as well as white flour, white rice, white pasta, potatoes... (pretty much any food that tastes good.) I had no success with clomid or metformin. But about 4-6 months after making the dietary adjustments, I got pregnant! :)
